Before you decide

Everything You Need To Know.

Honest answers to the questions walkers ask most - from fit and comfort to weight selection, shipping and returns.

Fit & Sizing

Will it actually fit me? I've read other vests run small.

This is the single most common complaint with other weighted vests - sized for one body type, with little real adjustment range. GravityPosture is genuinely one-size-fits-most: the straps adjust across a wide range of chest and torso sizes, both tightening down for a smaller frame and extending out comfortably for a larger one. If you're between sizes or unsure, the 30-day guarantee means you can try it on your actual walks before deciding it's right for you.

I have a larger or smaller frame than average. Will the straps be enough?

Yes. The adjustable strap system was designed around real body variation, not a single sample size. You should be able to tighten it down securely or let it out comfortably without running out of strap length. If it ever doesn't fit right, our return policy applies - no risk in trying it.

Is it unisex? Can my partner use the same one?

Yes - the adjustable, one-size design works well for both women and men. Many of our customers share one vest between partners with different weight preferences by simply adjusting the straps.

Comfort & Wearability

Other vests cause shoulder or back pain. Will this?

This is a real and common issue with budget weighted vests - weight that's concentrated in one panel rather than spread evenly puts pressure directly on the shoulders and lower back. GravityPosture distributes weight evenly across the front and back panels, which is specifically designed to prevent that kind of concentrated strain. It's built for walking - an activity you sustain for 20-60 minutes - not short bursts of gym lifting, so all-day comfort was the priority from the start.

Will the weight bounce, shift, or feel loose while I walk?

No. The weight is sealed in place and evenly distributed, so it stays put through a normal walking stride. This is different from vests with loose weight pockets that shift and create an uneven, bouncing feeling - a frequent complaint with cheaper alternatives.

Will it chafe or rub against my skin?

It's made from soft, breathable neoprene specifically chosen to avoid chafing during extended wear. If you're walking in warmer weather, wearing a moisture-wicking shirt underneath will keep things even more comfortable.

Can I wear it for a full walk, or just a few minutes?

It's built for full walking sessions - most customers wear it for their entire daily walk, whether that's 20 minutes or over an hour. It's not designed as a short-burst gym accessory; comfort over a sustained walk is the entire point.

Choosing Your Weight

Which weight should I start with?

If you're new to weighted walking, start with 6 lb - enough to notice a difference without feeling like a workout chore. Most customers choose 10 lb for everyday walking once they're used to it. The 25 lb is for those who already have experience with weighted training and want maximum resistance.

What if I choose wrong - can I size up or down later?

Each weight is sold as its own vest, so there isn't an interchangeable weight-swap system. If you find your chosen weight isn't right after wearing it, reach out within 30 days and we'll help you get the right one through our return policy.

Is heavier always better for results?

Not necessarily. More weight increases intensity, but comfort and consistency matter more for actual results - a vest you wear every day at 10 lb will likely do more for you than a 25 lb vest you stop wearing after a week because it's uncomfortable. Start at a weight you'll actually stick with.

Quality & Durability

Is this actually well-made, or is it the same as cheaper Amazon vests?

GravityPosture is built specifically around walking comfort rather than being a generic gym vest with reflective trim added. The weight distribution, strap design, and neoprene construction are chosen for sustained daily wear, not short, high-intensity sessions. We stand behind it with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee - if it doesn't hold up to your expectations, you're covered.

Will the weight leak or shift internally over time?

The weight is sealed within the panels to prevent shifting or leaking with normal use. As with any product, we recommend avoiding submerging it in water and following the simple care instructions (wipe down with a damp cloth, air dry) to keep it in good condition long-term.

How long will it last with regular use?

With normal daily walking use and basic care, the vest is built to hold up well over time. The double-reinforced stitching and quality neoprene are chosen specifically to handle frequent wear, not just occasional gym sessions.

Shipping & Returns

How long does shipping take?

We ship from the USA with free shipping on every US order. Most orders ship within 1-3 business days and arrive within 4-7 business days.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not at this time - we currently ship within the United States only.

What if it doesn't work out for me?

Every vest is backed by our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. If the fit, weight, or comfort isn't right, reach out within 30 days of delivery and we'll help make it right.

What's included with my order?

Your adjustable weighted vest, plus three free expert walking guides - a Beginner Setup Guide, a 30-Day Walking Program, and a Walking-Pad & Treadmill Protocol - delivered instantly when you order.

Walking Pads & Treadmills

Can I use it on a walking pad?

Yes - it's one of the most common ways customers use GravityPosture. The even weight distribution and secure fit mean it stays comfortable and stable while you walk in place, even during longer indoor sessions.

Can I use it on a treadmill?

Yes. It's designed to move naturally with a walking stride, so it works well at typical treadmill walking speeds. As with any added resistance on a treadmill, start at a comfortable pace and incline until you're used to wearing it.

How long should I wear it indoors?

Most customers wear it for their full walking pad or treadmill session, whether that's 20 minutes or an hour. There's no strict time limit - let comfort be your guide, especially when you're first getting used to the added weight.

Is the 10 lb vest enough for walking pad workouts?

For most people, yes - 10 lb is our most popular weight for everyday indoor walking and gives a noticeable boost in effort without being overwhelming. If you're newer to weighted walking, the 6 lb is a comfortable starting point; if you want more challenge, the 25 lb is there to grow into.
